Social Enterprise Development Grant

The Innovations and Investment Fund program provides development grants of up to $5,000.  Grants may be used to pay for professional fees for technical assistance and/or staff costs and resources related to the planning and organizational development activities related to the development of a Social Enterprise.

Development grants may NOT be used for operations, overhead, or implementation.  Nor may an Innovation and Investment development grant be used retroactively.

Eligibility

To be eligible for and Innovations and Investment development Grant, an organization must:

  • Be a non-profit organization.
  • Have its base, activities, and benefits in the 11 counties of the Nebraska Panhandle.
  • Commit matching funds in cash or in-kind.

The program accepts matching funds in cash or in-kind.  Matching funds must be directly related to the project for which you are applying.  In-kind amounts must be related directly to the costs of business planning and organizational development (not operation expenses).  If staff time is considered to be in-kind, the application must demonstrate that the staff person will have designated time to conduct planning work.
