 nt related to creative arts\n● To explore music and visual arts in early c
 hildhood\n● To discover ways children express themselves through Creative 
 Arts\n● To explore movement and dramatic play in Creative Arts\n● To exami
 ne the role of materials and the environment in Creative Arts\n\nSafe With
  You: (License Required Option)\nDo you know how to reduce the risk of Sud
 den Unexpected Infant Death (SUID) and prevent accidental suffocation? Do 
 you know the safest way to put a baby to sleep? Do you have a safe sleep p
 olicy? If you answered NO to any of these questions\, this workshop is for
  you. Everyone is at risk of shaking a baby. When a baby is shaken\, the s
 haking can cause brain damage\, life-changing disabilities\, and even deat
 h. This is one childhood injury that is preventable. Child abuse and negle
 ct unfortunately \nhappens in Nebraska. Child care providers need to know 
 about child abuse and neglect\, how to make a report\, ways to strengthen 
 families\, and how to prevent child abuse in their own childcare programs.
 \n\nBehaviors and Observations:\nDuring our time we will look at the four 
 functions of behavior\, how to use observations to increase our understand
 ing of behavior and the importance of partnering with families throughout 
 the process.\n\nTaking the Lead: (Directors)\nBeing the director of a chil
 dcare program can be rewarding and challenging. This session will guide yo
 u through setting the stage for creating a vision and expectations for you
 r program.\n\nRead for Joy:\nThis training will:\n-enhance parent involvem
 ent in learning\n-show how the child’s brain develops\n-characteristics of
  home and school environments that produce effective readers\n-strategies 
 for using literature effectively with children
