May 30 @ 8:00 am - June 14 @ 5:00 pm MDT| Free
A summer self-advocacy course for students with disabilities! ‘It’s All About the Plan!’ allows students to learn about and practice self-advocacy skills. Includes hands-on activities, community speakers, and e-learning tools. Developed through a partnership between Disability Rights Nebraska, Arc of Lincoln/ Autism Family Network, and Fritz & O’Hare Associates.
Self-advocacy skills help people speak up for what they need and want in life. It is especially important for students with disabilities to learn how they can make their voices heard!
