Members of Panhandle Partnership, Inc.,
We have a tremendous and time-sensitive opportunity to provide input on needed resources in response to COVID-19.
Nebraska Children and Families Foundation is playing a critical role in supporting communities as we deal with the COVID-19 pandemic. Through a partnership with the Nebraska Department of Education and Commissioner Matthew Blomstedt, the Department of Health and Human Services, and community funders, they are collecting information from community members and experts across our state to identify community needs and potential resources to meet those needs. In an effort to gather information across communities and identify gaps where immediate resources are needed, we are asking for your help.
In collaboration with Nebraska Children and Families Foundation, Panhandle Partnership will host a Zoom meeting on April 3rd, 9:00-11:00 MDT to gather input from the Panhandle. That information will be compiled statewide and delivered to Governor Pete Ricketts, First Lady Susanne Shore, state system partners and funders.
If agency and organization leadership cannot attend, we ask that you send informed staff in your stead. If you know of other community leaders and stakeholders that are not members of the Partnership, feel free to forward this invitation to them.
These are truly trying times and we hope we can provide support as we all continue to take care of ourselves, our loved ones and our communities.
